Looks as if there will be quite a few of the club going to Frankfurt next year (2011). I will have to sit this one out due to a number of things that need sorting out. However, it is likely that I may have a go at a half distance event, Weymouth in May or Vitruvian or Bala. Ross Hale has entered Wimbleball 70.3. Some of our training can overlap if the IM crew are going for the long bike. if any of the Frankfurt crew want a pre IM half then we could use Weymouth as a club race/prep. event. My event has to be pre July 20th, any other half distance events around then would be of interest. Any takers? Rich

I'm up for doing a group half too. Though would prefer one later than Weymouth. Can be Very cold water there!

Count me in, that would fit in well with next year, I've looked at half IM UK, but £200 entry fee is putting me off, presumably you're all looking at the Concept Sport event ?

Eastnor Castle (Black sheep sports) is a good, low key, race. It's noramlly first weekend in July and has expanded to include a sprint, standard and middle on the same day and course so good fun for everyone. It is a bit hilly but very nice area and only an hour away.
